1. Active Ingredient and Composition
Active Ingredient: Gabapentin 100 mg per hard gelatin capsule.
Appearance: Light blue opaque capsules containing white powder.
Packaging: Blister pack containing 10 capsules (10's).
2. Indications and Uses
Gabix is used for the following conditions:
Epilepsy: As an adjunctive (add-on) therapy for partial seizures with or without secondary generalization in adults and children aged 6 years and older. It is also used as monotherapy for partial seizures in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older.
Neuropathic Pain: Treatment of peripheral neuropathic pain, such as postherpetic neuralgia (pain after shingles) and diabetic neuropathy in adults.
