Description: A white, homogeneous, non-greasy, and non-gritty cream.
Mechanism: It works by releasing silver ions slowly, which bind to bacterial DNA and inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi (such as Candida albicans).
Application: Usually applied in a 2-4 mm thick layer once or twice daily, directly to the wound or onto a sterile gauze.
Precautions: Not recommended for use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or on premature infants.
